Your first visit to Dr. Alexander's office will establish a vital foundation for our relationship with you throughout your dental care. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know Dr. Alexander and his practice. This initial visit will also help guide us through your dental concerns, wants and needs. Being well-prepared for your appointment will also ensure that Dr. Alexander has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. Upon calling our office, our Practice Administrator, Jackie, will send you our patient forms for you to fill out and bring with you to your appointment. We also ask that you provide any recent dental x-rays. With this information will be included a brochure of our practice and what we have to offer.

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Our office understands the anxiety that can come with visiting a dentist. Rest assure that you are in good hands and that we will answer any questions that you may have. Our office is conveniently located near 690 and Rt. 81. To better familiarize yourself as to our location, Syracuse Stage is across the street and we are in walking distance from Syracuse University, Suny Health Science Center and Crouse Hospital.

There is a parking garage attached to office building that is also handicap accessible.
